Research Project on "Mobile Search" Receives Grant from Marketing Science Institute (MSI)

Stephan Daurer, Dominik Molitor and Professor Martin Spann, Institute of Electronic Commerce and Digital Markets, together with Professor Puneet Manchanda, Ross School of Business, Michigan University, Ann Arbor, received a research grant from the Marketing Science Institute (MSI) for their project on „Mobile Search“.

The award winning project called „SmartSearch: The Impact of Smartphones, Barcode Scanning, and Location-based Services on Customers’ Online and Offline Search Behavior“ is the outcome of a research competition on “Mobile Platforms, Location-Based Services, and their Impact on Consumers”.

The project investigates drivers that influence consumers’ search behavior in the mobile internet.
